Clinic Development Business Analyst University of Manitoba pay range Base pay: CA$56,966.00/yr – CA$80,280.20/yr (actual pay based on skills and experience) The opportunity The Clinic Development Business Analyst supports the College of Rehabilitation Sciences (CoRS) by leading the development of a comprehensive business case and business model for the Student‑Led Interprofessional Clinic (SLIC). The incumbent analyzes current clinic operations, designs scalable models for future clinics, and collaborates with academic leaders, clinic coordinators, faculty, finance, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, map current and future‑state business processes, analyze operational needs, and provide evidence‑based recommendations. The role combines business process analysis, stakeholder engagement, data modeling, requirements gathering, and system/process design to help CoRS plan sustainable clinic operations aligned with strategic goals and support education, research, and community health service delivery. Qualifications and Experience We’re Looking For Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Management Information Systems, Public Administration, or related field (required). Knowledge of university regulations, programs and procedures relevant to the function/program. Three years of directly related administrative experience (required). Experience gathering and translating business requirements into actionable documentation. Experience analyzing and improving business processes, developing business cases, and supporting change management. Experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholder groups. Experience with financial modeling or operational planning (asset). Experience working in clinical, academic, or health‑related environments (preferred). Acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills (required). Ability to interpret stakeholder needs and translate them into functional and operational requirements (required). Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write clear reports and present findings to leadership (required). Strong facilitation skills and ability to elicit information from diverse groups (required). Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or collaboratively (required). Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain focus in a busy academic environment (required). Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and work with discretion and professionalism (required). A satisfactory work record, including attendance and punctuality (required). Familiarity with accreditation standards, quality assurance processes, or regulatory requirements (plus). Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and staying current on best practices in business analysis and clinical operations.
