This full‑time continuing role focuses on providing responsive, empathetic, and professional service to current, former, and future students and all university services. The assistant serves as the first point of contact for inquiries related to admissions, registration, fees, financial aid, and student records, and manages phone, email, and front‑counter interactions. Key Responsibilities Serve students throughout the full life cycle, helping them navigate university systems and empowering the use of available services. Respond to inquiries, providing accurate and satisfactory resolutions. Use the MacEwan website and Academic Calendar as primary information sources, guiding applicants and students on accessing resources. Verify and explain status related to admissions, registration, fees, and convocation using the student information system. Complete data entry and processing for fee assessments, transcript requests, registration transactions, and student personal information changes. Review student accounts and enrollment history to troubleshoot issues with records or registration, coordinating with the Functional Analyst as needed. Manage incoming mail for the Office of the University Registrar, distribute documents, and process transcripts. Assist and support onboarding of new employees through job shadowing and training. Knowledge of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions or another Student Information System is an asset. Qualifications A post‑secondary diploma focused on records/data management, administration, or customer service. Minimum one year of customer service or administrative support experience.
