We seek creative, ambitious professionals who can help us build a better world. Job Description Provide supervision to Design Supervisors on large projects. Guide and assist project Design Engineers, Supervisors, Designers, Specialists, and Drafters. Develop cost‑effective total project solutions for discipline design work. Create estimates and schedules, progress reports, and workforce forecasts. Track and monitor material key quantities; provide analysis and forecasts. Develop and review specifications, including design criteria. Participate in equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting activities. Analyze and recommend solutions to complex problems in accordance with organization and project objectives. Supervise development and checking of complex piping drawings including plot plans, piping plans, isometrics, and sketches. Supervise piping input to P&ID, update master P&ID and pipe line list. Support sub‑disciplines of piping material engineering, piping material control, stress engineering, and process graphics. Perform advanced design calculations: lighting, raceway sizing, wire sizing, voltage drop, cable pulling, panel board and breaker sizing, and junction box sizing. Provide field assistance as required. Maintain advanced knowledge of 2‑D and 3‑D CAD systems and procedures, Hexagon Smart® Electrical software & Review, 3‑D modeling software, Fluor design guides, electrical technical practices, and electrical design drawings. Apply expertise in electrical design requirements such as grounding/earthing, lighting, wiring, motors, conduit fill, panelboards, and hazardous locations. Utilize advanced computer and software skills, including word processing, e‑mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Job Requirements Accredited 2‑year degree or global equivalent and 25 years of work‑related experience, or an equivalent combination equal to 27 years if non‑degreed. Effective communication skills with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors. Job‑related technical knowledge necessary to complete the role. Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and national statutes and guidelines. Attention to detail and ability to work in a time‑conscious, time‑effective manner. Knowledge of commercial availability and cost of materials. Practical field experience. Intermediate computer and software skills, including word processing, e‑mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs. Salary & Benefits Salary range: $126,500.00 – $235,500.00 (based on experience and qualifications).
