We recognize the individual needs of our staff while supporting and assisting them to reach their full potential.Reporting to the Vice President of Finance (VPF), the Senior Accountant completes the balance sheet reconciliations, monthly upload of consolidated financials to UK based ERP Tagetik, assists with both internal and external audits, oversees credit card compliance and processing, and assists with annual statutory financial packages. They provide quality control and internal audits to ensure consistent accurate financial statements are produced for all stakeholders.This is a fully remote position that can be based anywhere in Canada. Occasional travel to Keller offices may be required. This position is intended to provide coverage during a maternity leave and is expected to last approximately 14 months.ResponsibilitiesInternal audit and quality controlAssisting VPF with SOX documentation for monthly/quarterly/annual controlsBudgeting and forecastingPopulation of quarterly templates for distribution to regional managersAssistance with general overhead population of costs corporately and regionallyPopulation of corporate budget and forecastsData entry of budgets into accounting softwareFinancial reportingReviewing branch project accounting for weekly reportingAssisting VPF with monthly financial reporting to UK parent companyAssisting VPF with annual statutory package populationOwner of branch accounting financial packages and accrual tool sheetsBalance sheet reconciliationsIFRS 16 leasing schedulesPopulating/updating external Tagetik ERPMain contact with annual audit and providing documentation as requestedManager of credit card programReviewing Accounting Coordinator workAuditing receipts for complianceAssisting VPF and CFO with ad-hoc reconciliations, analysis, and entriesVacation cover-offBranch Accountant – taking over region(s)Corporate Accounting Coordinator (Credit card entries, and deposits)Other financial items as requiredQualificationsEducation and ExperienceEnrolled in or complete CPA program or equivalent work experienceExperience with IFRS, application of accounting policies and account reconciliationsManagement experience considered an assetMinimum of five years of accounting experienceExperience in construction accounting in a multi-currency environmentKnowledge, Skills and Ability RequirementsSuperior Excel and analytical skillsOutstanding organizational & presentation skills and attention to detailThe capacity to multitask and prioritize workloadThe ability to work to a high level under extreme pressureThe capacity to work alone or as part of a teamDiscretion and respect for confidential informationKnowledge of D365 and/or Microsoft Dynamics considered an assetAdditional InformationSalary Range: $75,000 - $100,000 CADActual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law.Benefits:RRSP w/ company matchLife insurancePaid time off (PTO)Keller is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
