Overview We are seeking a full‑time Trauma Physician to join the ARHCC Trauma Service within the Fraser Health Trauma Network. The role is based at ARHCC, a 275‑bed regional hospital in Abbotsford, BC, which is a Level 3 trauma centre and houses a range of specialty services. Responsibilities Serve as Trauma Team Lead / Consultant for trauma activations and consultations. Act as the Managing Resident Physician for admitted trauma patients. Remain on‑call 24/7, approximately seven days every two months, with onsite daytime hours and home call within a 30‑minute travel time to the hospital. Collaborate with a team of nine trauma physicians, including emergency, surgical, and other specialty physicians. Qualifications Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Anesthesiology, or Acute Care Surgery. Fellowship in Trauma or Acute Care Surgery is an asset but not required. Experience managing trauma patients and participating in trauma teams. US‑trained trauma physicians accepted by Fraser Health. Location & Work Environment ARHCC is located in Abbotsford, BC, approximately 40 minutes east of Vancouver, in a family‑friendly community with excellent schools and abundant outdoor recreation.
