Key Responsibilities As the Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in providing accurate financial insights and supporting decision‑making across the business. Your responsibilities will include: Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards. Identify trends, variances, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to leadership teams. Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with departments to develop budgets, forecasts, and long‑term financial plans. Utilize financial modeling tools and data analytic's to support strategic planning and resource allocation. Operational Support & Collaboration: Partner with cross‑functional teams, including operations, sales, and supply chain, to support financial initiatives and decision‑making. Provide guidance and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability. Special Projects & Continuous Improvement: Assist in financial system implementations, process improvements, and ad‑hoc projects as required. Support initiatives that enhance reporting accuracy, streamline processes, and strengthen financial controls. Qualifications To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following: Education & Experience: A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. 3‑5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in heavy equipment, manufacturing, or related industries. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools; experience with ERP systems is an asset. Familiarity with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Key Competencies: Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly. A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
