Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech The Ultrasound Clinical Account Specialist (ULS CAS) is responsible for providing technical and clinical product support to healthcare providers, including Electrophysiology (EP) physicians, Interventional Cardiologists (IC), and laboratory staff. The ULS CAS in Structural Heart blends clinical ultrasound expertise with consultative sales to drive adoption and optimization of Johnson & Johnson ultrasound platforms used in structural heart interventions. You will partner with radiology/echo labs, interventional cardiology teams, cardiac surgeons, and procurement to deliver clinically meaningful education, demonstrate value, support product launches, and ensure optimal patient care pathways across your territory. The ULS CAS directly partners with a Regional Business Director, Territory Managers, EP CAS, Field Service Engineers and Field Management to ensure alignment and coordination of activities to meet business objectives. Responsibilities Develop clinical strategies and drive adoption of ultrasound products and solutions used in structural heart procedures (e.g., 2D/3D intracardiac echo and related imaging software). Deliver on‑site and virtual clinical education, training, and workshops to sonographers, radiologists, interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and lab leadership. Conduct compelling product demonstrations and hands‑on sessions to showcase imaging capabilities, workflow improvements, and ROI in structural heart workflows (TEER, LAAC, etc.) and Electrophysiology (AF/VT mapping integration where applicable). Partner with physicians, nurses, technologists, and hospital leadership to optimize imaging protocols and patient care pathways within structural heart and EP programs. Support pre‑sales activities (site assessments) and post‑sales deployment (installation, integration, go‑live support). Develop and present evidence‑based clinical content, case studies and value messages tailored to structural heart subspecialties. Gather customer feedback, monitor usage metrics and relay insights to product management and marketing for continuous improvement. Ensure regulatory compliance, hospital policies, data privacy and Johnson & Johnson quality standards. Track adoption, training completion and customer satisfaction. Identify and cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and clinical champions; support education programs and clinical studies as needed. Contribute to internal training programs to help colleagues understand ultrasound capabilities and clinical value in structural heart. Qualifications Degree in Sonography or a clinically relevant field; advanced ultrasound certifications or cardiovascular imaging credentials are a plus. Demonstrated clinical ultrasound experience in cardiology/structural heart settings (e.g., echocardiography, TEE, ICE; interventional suites) is a plus. Direct experience with ultrasound systems, transducers, and imaging software; familiarity with regulatory and safety considerations for imaging devices. Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills; ability to tailor messages to clinicians, administrators, and procurement. A valid driver’s license issued in Canada Willingness to travel as required (typically around 30%, depending on territory). Clinical or commercial collaboration experience in a medical device environment is highly desirable. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus. Strongly Preferred Electrophysiology/Cath Lab or EP/Cardiovascular Device Industry experience. Maintaining at least one of the following industry certifications – CEPS (IBHRE), RCES/RCIS. Experience working with highly complex technical systems and/or working in a critical patient care setting. Effective and timely communicator with co‑workers and all levels of patient care team. Self‑starter who performs well with autonomy and can be flexible in a dynamic work environment. Problem solver who can think critically in high pressure environments. Receptive to constructive feedback and collaborates and works well in team environment. Able to take large amounts of data and translate information into actionable insights. Hunger for learning and building new skills. Skills & Competencies Hard Skills: Echocardiography, 3D imaging, intracardiac imaging, imaging software, workflow optimization, regulatory compliance.
