Edmonton, Canada Rohit Group Full time

Join to apply for the Regional People Operations (HR) Manager role at Rohit Group. As a Regional Manager, People & Culture for our Edmonton, Saskatchewan and Ottawa Homes teams, you’ll be the operational heartbeat connecting strategy to execution. You’ll partner with regional leaders who build, sell, and create — helping them make sharper people decisions, faster. You’ll challenge assumptions, push for accountability, and ensure our people practices fuel results, not bureaucracy. This isn’t a “support” role. It’s an impact role. You’ll lead from the front, have the credibility to push back when it matters, and have the operational savvy to see around corners. You’ll dive deep into the business, understanding how construction, land, and development actually run — then use that insight to guide better leadership decisions, performance management, and culture alignment. You’re not here to play it safe — you’re here to make things better. If you love solving problems, coaching bold leaders, and creating clarity in the chaos, this is your seat at the table. As an Edmonton‑based role, the successful candidate will support Saskatchewan and Ottawa remotely with the expectation of travel every other month. In Edmonton, this person will operate largely out of our field office with 25% of their time spent in our downtown corporate location and will also travel to Edmonton sites once a week. Essential Functions Immersing yourself in our construction and land operations to understand how work really gets done — then using that insight to influence hiring, performance, and organizational decisions that drive results. Being the challenger, not the cheerleader: partnering with leaders to make the right calls, even when they’re tough; pushing back when needed, and holding the line on standards that protect culture, compliance, and long‑term performance. Building strong leadership muscle: coaching leaders through difficult conversations, performance issues, and organizational change; helping them evolve from reactive management to proactive leadership. Driving a culture that works: being the on‑the‑ground champion of our entrepreneurial, bold culture; keeping the spirit of ownership and accountability alive in every meeting, policy, and conversation. Transforming how we work: partnering with corporate P&C to tailor programs that fit regional realities. Navigating the grey: handling complex employee relations issues with judgment, fairness, and discretion; finding the balance between empathy and accountability. Fueling growth: executing people initiatives that attract, retain, and grow talent; aligning leadership capability, workforce planning, and succession strategies with operational goals. Leading change relentlessly: being the voice of calm and clarity through transformation; building trust, communicating with impact, and ensuring adoption of new ways of working. Performing other related duties as assigned. Experience Required 8+ years experience in an operational human resources role with preferable experience in an entrepreneurial environment. Experience in drawing high‑performing talent by creating connections. Travel Every second month to either Saskatchewan or Ottawa. Education (Beneficial) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics Bachelor’s degree in Finance #J-18808-Ljbffr
