This is a 'feel good' job. Students gain confidence and get closer to achieving their academic goals and future careers.Locations:We need people willing to tutor in these locations:Surrey, Delta, White Rock, Tsawwassen, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Pitt Meadows, Maple RidgeNOTE: We need tutors in place for summer and all school year round. We do not promise tutoring assignments because it depends on the students' needs at that time.Responsibilities:Assessing student's needs and developing a plan to help them succeedAssisting students with homework, projects, test preparation and assignments.Teaching skills to improve academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills, and approaches to answering test questionsProviding students with positive and constructive feedbackOffering feedback on progress to students' parents #J-18808-Ljbffr
