Reg. 258/98) and the Rules of Civil Procedure (R.R.O. 1990, Reg. 194) Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and enforcement‑related materials Represent clients in Small Claims Court and other Ontario courts for litigation and enforcement matters Manage multiple case files across all stages of litigation and enforcement, ensuring timely and accurate progression Collaborate with senior lawyers to develop case strategies and provide legal support on diverse disputes Ensure compliance with legal standards, procedures, and filing requirements Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff Assist in enforcement proceedings such as garnishments, writs of seizure and sale, and judgment recovery Support the Real Estate Department by assisting with real‑estate closings, refinancing transactions, and related documentation Qualifications LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited law school; member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario Strong knowledge of Ontario's civil litigation framework, particularly Small Claims Court and enforcement processes Familiarity with real‑estate law and transactional procedures is considered an asset Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
