If this sounds like you, we need youAs an Insurance Broker, you will have the following responsibilities :Actively pursue potential clients through networking, cold calling, building referrals and implementing sales tactics to identify sales opportunities and client needs.Correctly assess risk and advise clients of insurance coverages altered to clients' needs including policy features such as discounts and coverage requirementsRemain informed about insurance products offered by contracted markets including coverage options, coverage limitations and industry trends including market regulation changesPrepare quotations tailored to client requirements and risk profiles and binding upon client proposalManage insurance applications, endorsements, and paperwork efficiently through ensuring the correct documentation is in the broker management systemImplement underwriting guidelines administered by the company and various marketsAttend required training courses and education to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques and fulfil RIBO’s licensing requirements of continuing education creditsAdhere to RIBO regulations and ethical guidelines in client interactions by maintaining confidentiality of sensitive data appropriately.Build a network of COI’s and maintain strong client relationships by offering ongoing support, addressing inquiries and fostering a trusting relationship.Skills and QualificationsMinimum 2 years of Insurance Sales experience in Canada is requiredExperience in Personal Lines and / or Commercial Lines is requiredValid RIBO LicenseBasic skills in Microsoft Office applicationsProficiency working with Applied Rating Services, Powerbroker, and various market portalsPositive and ambitious attitudeWhat We OfferHigh Commission Compensation Package – the role is a COMMISSION ONLY based role.Ownership in your book of businessRemote work with a convenient office location located close to Square One, near major highwaysComprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and extended health benefits after a three-month probation periodOpportunity to work with Canada’s fastest-growing insurance brokerage with a promise of professional and personal growthThe potential commission earning tiers are the following in which includes new business and renewing commissions :1st year – 60k to 80k2nd year – 70k to 100k3rd year – 120k+Our Commitment to Diversity, Inclusion and BelongingMy Hunter Inc. is committed to building a transparent environment where everyone feels heard, welcomed, and included.
