Position Overview Associate Dean, Health Sciences & Director, School of Nursing – Faculty of Health Sciences, Hamilton, ON McMaster University’s School of Nursing is internationally renowned for its innovation in nursing education and research. Key Responsibilities Provide academic and administrative oversight of the School’s educational, research, financial, and clinical activities. Serve as Director of the McMaster‑Mohawk‑Conestoga Nursing Consortium. Act as a key member of the Faculty Executive Council, overseeing faculty‑wide issues. Lead strategic initiatives, champion change and innovation, and foster a cohesive, enthusiastic community of faculty, staff, and students. Qualifications PhD in nursing or a related discipline. Record of excellence in academic and clinical leadership. Eligibility for licensing as a Registered Nurse in Ontario. Internationally recognized scholar and strategic leader with a vision for advancing the School’s mission. Location & Start Date McMaster is located in Hamilton, a vibrant city of 500,000 people with a relaxed, culturally diverse atmosphere and excellent public schools.
