Your future starts here BioScript Solutions is seeking an experienced full-time bilingual accountant to join our team to support the financial reporting needs of our organization. Our organization’s growth has resulted in us expanding our centralized finance team. As an accountant with BioScript Solutions, you will work closely with other team members to develop your technical skills and support our workflow processes and standards. This opportunity will require the successful candidate to function independently, have ownership over their work and take initiative. How You Will Make An Impact
  • Importing monthly sales.
  • Processing of AP invoices and expenses.
  • Posting journal entries, intercompany transactions, and inventory accounting adjustments.
  • Completing monthly reconciliations of related GL accounts.
  • Analyze gross margins and run monthly financial reports.
  • Prepare EFT and cheques runs.
  • Compiling financial information for ad hoc management reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and legal regulations.
  • Responsible for reporting any patient safety information as per adverse event reporting requirements and product quality complaints reporting requirements.
  • Other duties as required.
What You’ll Bring To Our Team
  • Successful completion of post-secondary education in accounting.
  • Bilingualism is required for this position. (French/English)
  • Accurate data entry skills complimented by high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated prioritization skills and ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and comfortable working with autonomy.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with a positive demeanor under varying stress levels.
  • Comfortable working with computers and technology, specifically the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Experience with Sage 300 or PowerBI is considered an asset.
