High‑Level Overview As an Insights Analyst, you will be a key member of the Analytics & Insights team, responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that support decision‑making across the organization. You will work closely with data engineers, business stakeholders, and product teams to identify trends, answer key business questions, and develop dashboards and reports. Your expertise in data analysis, visualization, and storytelling will play a critical role in enabling data‑driven strategies, measuring performance, and uncovering opportunities for impact and improvement. Please note this is an 18 month term role. What You’ll Do Develop reporting, analytics, and data visualizations that provide insight into our business and that of our clients. Build and maintain dashboards using Looker, connected to BigQuery and other modern data sources. Use Python for light automation, data validation, or advanced statistical modeling where appropriate. Bring data together from multiple sources to provide complete solutions across key problem domains. Work closely with business leaders and developers to identify, track, and optimize meaningful metrics and KPIs. Translate business questions into clear analytical approaches, validating assumptions and communicating insights. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our analytics environment by surfacing opportunities for automation and efficiency. What You Bring 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence / Analytics, with a strong track record building both operational and strategic reports. Experience authoring complex reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Looker, Jaspersoft. Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery SQL, PostgreSQL for querying, transforming, and analyzing large datasets. Strong Excel skills for quick exploration, prototyping, or business hand‑offs. Experience working with Google BigQuery or other cloud‑based data warehouse platforms. Familiarity with Python for scripting, automation, or statistical modeling. Statistical training as part of a bachelor’s or advanced degree (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression, correlation analysis, non‑parametric analytics). Ability to explain complex data concepts to non‑technical audiences with clarity and impact. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Understanding of data warehousing principles and data modeling approaches (e.g., Kimball, Inmon, 3NF). Bonus: Experience with R, SAS, or other statistical software tools.
