We believe in crafting superior experiences for patients and staff alike.We build conversational AI Agents for leading healthcare organizations to automate and enhance patient facing experiences.Our founding team includes top engineers and operators from organizations like AWS, AI research labs, and more.OverviewWhat you’ll do and how you’ll contribute to our platform and product.ResponsibilitiesArchitect and evolve the platform: help design and scale systems, doing both 0->1 and 1->n scaling of our systemShip end-to-end features: from UI/Frontend (Next.js) through backend (NestJS || Serverless) down to DB (Postgres/Supabase) and integrations with services (AWS)Automate yourself out of grunt work: pair with Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT Pro, Cursor to cut boilerplate and speed reviewsCollaborate with a tight-knit team: evaluate, prototype, and roll out the smartest tech for each problem - be it a new AI library, cutting-edge serverless runtime, or a design-system upgradeLanguages & FrameworksTypeScript, React, Next.js, NestJS, shadcn, PythonAWSWhat we’re looking for2+ years of hands-on software engineering and system design experience.AI-native Software Engineers with good domain of AI tools for productivity.Product-first mindset: optimizes for end-user value and guides yourself as your own PM. Iterates on live data and user feedback, not just ticketsTreats UI/UX quality as a first-class engineering metric, right alongside test coverage and performanceHabit of reaching for AI tools (Claude Code, Codex, etc)Candidates we tend to likeDeep interest in solving real world problems with technologyStrongly passionate about building and owning a product from end to endWe look for signs of extraordinary talent and curiosity more than any particular skill or experience.Base salary range of CAD $125,000 - $175,000 a year plus meaningful equity and benefits.At Blair AI, our mission is to cultivate a workplace grounded in diversity, equity, and inclusivity.
