Employer Industry: Health Technology Why consider this job opportunity: Market competitive compensation package including equity RRSP matching (within CAD) and 401K matching (within the U.S.) Flexible PTO policy to promote work-life balance Flexible benefits package and additional perks available Employee discount on Fullscript catalog of products for family and friends Opportunity to work remotely, allowing for flexibility in work location What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Oversee transfer pricing function, ensuring alignment with the employer’s business model Manage R&D credits and incentives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline claims processes Develop and maintain a robust cash tax forecasting model for U.S. and Canadian tax liabilities Manage tax compliance and reporting for transfer pricing, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations Collaborate with external advisors and internal stakeholders to analyze tax exposure and ensure compliance What is Required (Qualifications): CPA, CA, or other relevant professional designation preferred Minimum of 7+ years of relevant tax experience, with recent experience leading tax operations Proven experience in transfer pricing, especially around Cost Sharing Agreements (CSA) and cost-plus methodologies Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian SR&ED credits and U.S. Section 174 R&D tax regulations Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Prior experience within an online marketplace or eCommerce environment Strong proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with NetSuite is a plus Demonstrated success in building and improving processes We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
