The Opportunity We are seeking a Strategic Accounts Director to drive major revenue growth and build long‑term relationships across the public sector. This is a senior individual contributor role ideal for someone who thrives in complex enterprise sales, enjoys ownership of the full sales cycle, and wants to have a meaningful impact at a high‑momentum company. Job Summary The Strategic Accounts Director is responsible for owning and expanding strategic customer relationships, identifying high‑value opportunities, and closing complex deals from prospecting through contract execution. You will work closely with Growth, Product, Leadership, and Operations to align customer needs with GovAI’s solutions and long‑term strategy. How Will You Make an Impact? Own the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to close. Identify and close high‑value strategic opportunities that drive revenue growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients. Understand customer needs and position GovAI’s solutions effectively. Ensure long‑term customer satisfaction and retention through thoughtful communication. Collaborate with Growth, Product, Leadership, and Operations to support strategic initiatives. Provide insights from customer interactions to inform product development and go‑to‑market strategy. Support proposal development, pricing, and deal structuring. Adapt to evolving responsibilities in a fast‑paced, early‑stage environment. Contribute to exploratory initiatives as GovAI continues to scale. What You’ll Bring To The Role Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or related roles. Experience selling SaaS and/or public‑sector solutions is strongly preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer focus. Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in fast‑moving startup environments. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs. Compensation The base salary for this role starts at $85,000–$120,000 CAD, with flexibility for exceptional candidates based on experience, skills, and impact. This role also includes a highly competitive performance‑based variable compensation package tied to the achievement of sales targets.
