Blue Sky Home Care and Forbes Pharmacy have joined teams to service clients in the comfort of their own homes, services run Monday - Sunday. This is a day-shifts only position doing medication administration to a variety of clientele. Must have current, valid drivers license and a company vehicle is provided.

We bring the collaborative healthcare approach to your home, joining Patients, Care Workers, Nurses, Physicians and Pharmacists together to simplify personal and clinical tasks, reduce stress and create more time to enjoy life.

Job description

An ideal candidate would:

  • Quickly establish and maintain relationships with professionals from multiple agencies involved in the program and the care of the clients
  • Be professional, confident and proactive while working autonomously.
  • Possess a desire to advocate for community clients who struggle to access healthcare in a variety of settings
  • Be self-driven and accountable
  • Believe that empathy and compassion are fundamental pillars of establishing trusting relationships with clients
  • Embrace rapidly changing situations and be able to react to emergencies effectively
  • Be a natural leader and ambassador for our program and our clients

Posting requirements:

  • Current BC Nurse registration and be in good standing with the college
  • Have a valid BC driver's license
  • Be familiar with universal precautions and current Ministry of Health guidelines
  • Exceptional assessment, document and communications skills
  • Ability to work day shifts, weekends and holidays as a part of an established rotation (for casual, part-time and full-time positions)

Job Types: Casual, Permanent, Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $38.00-$40.00 per hour

  • 40 hrs/week
  • weekend availability

License/Certification:

  • BCCNM Nursing Registration (required)
  • First Aid and CPR Certification (preferred)
  • BC Driving License (required)

Work Location: On the road
