**_ Type:_**_ Full Time (37.5 hours per week)_

**_ Schedule: _**_Thurs
- Mon or Friday-Tues or Sat-Wed or Sun-Thurs_

**_ Shifts: _**_0700-1500 or 0730-1530 with variability during vaccine season_

**_ Wage:_**_ LPN $34/hour + Annual Bonus Structure_

St. Anthony's Clinic Pharmacy is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our committed and energetic, 'Heart at Home' team; a program that offers daily dispense medication services to our clients in their home. **Position Summary**:

- Mobile nursing practice providing assistance with Medication regime and administration to our clients in their home
- Work in collaboration with Vancouver Island Health Authority, community pharmacists and physicians.
- Provide direct practical nursing care to patients in accordance with applicable legislation, regulations, by-laws and employer policies.
- Perform within the LPN scope of practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) in administration of PO meds, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, BG Monitoring and other duties as assigned.
- Participation in recruitment activities
- Ability to cover occasional evening shift preferred
- Willingness to work vaccination clinics mandatory

**Qualifications**:

- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
- Current registration with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Knowledge and background in cardiology and diabetes are strong assets.

**Requirements**:

- Valid BC Driver's License and a reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement included in compensation package).
- Unrestricted Licensure with BCCNM.
- Authorization to inject and vaccinate under the direction of a pharmacist is mandatory
- Clear Police Criminal Record Check and Solicitor General's Criminal Record Check.
- Able to effectively use a computer and electronic devices.
- Ability to navigate client’s homes which occasionally involves stairs, steep driveways and getting in and out of a vehicle multiple times a day

Compensation

$34.00 per hour
