About the job Senior Manager, Tax Advisory TorontoAbout this Job:One of our clients is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our Tax Advisory Group. This role offers a unique opportunity to fast-track your career towards the partner level as our mid-sized firm continues to grow. You will play a leading role on client engagements, providing tax advisory services and directing staff, including reviewing their work for accuracy and completeness.Additionally, you will research and develop tax-planning strategies for our clients and lead the preparation of complex tax returns. Our Tax Advisory Group provides the chance to work with publicly listed entities and private corporations, offering advice on transactions, reorganizations, and indirect tax matters.Responsibilities:Provide timely, high-quality client service, meeting or exceeding expectationsWork closely with partners as a senior team member on tax planning projectsPlan and organize teams for the preparation of tax returnsConduct and present tax researchJoin the tax engagement team in servicing the planning and compliance needs of clientsProvide ongoing support and mentoring for the professional development of staffCollaborate with other office members to attract new work to the firmIdentify performance improvement opportunities for team membersManage time effectively across multiple projectsSkills and Experience:Completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax program or an MTax program8+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in a public accounting environmentExcellent client service skills with the ability to understand the client's businessStrong project management and organizational skillsHighly motivated individual with a desire for growthStrong strategic planning and conceptual thinking skillsExperience communicating complex tax matters both verbally and in writingAbility to complete complex tax memorandums is an asset #J-18808-Ljbffr
