Senior Manager – U.S. Advisory A day in the life of a Senior Manager – U.S. Advisory: Participate with senior managers, vice‑presidents and partners on buy and sell side cross‑border transactions. Assist on cross‑border corporate and high‑net‑worth individual personal tax planning. Research U.S. tax issues, interpret and apply tax legislation. Research and interpret international tax treaty. Review/prepare U.S. corporate, partnership, trust, and individual federal and state tax returns. Participate in regular training sessions with all team members and provide junior team members with training sessions. What we are looking for: Approximately 5 – 8 years of relevant experience in tax advisory and/or tax compliance. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Ability to manage several projects at the same time and meet tight deadlines. Intellectual curiosity and creativity. Flexibility and availability. Good judgment. Open‑mindedness applied to continuous learning. Strong team spirit and ability to work with others. Strong sense of client service and professionalism. US CPA and/or Canadian CPA designation.
