This is a full‑time, salaried position with a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to earn profit sharing. Successful candidates may be required to relocate within Canada to complete their training; relocation assistance will be provided. Opportunities are available across the country. The Role As a Management Trainee, you will progress through a 4‑phase program to learn every aspect of how our business operates – from shipping and receiving, counter sales, operations management to employee development and more. You will grow a sales territory, provide world‑class customer service, and receive guidance, mentoring, and support from current managers and teammates across Canada to build a successful management career at EMCO. Program Outline Phase 1 (12 months) – Warehouse and Customer Service: Build product knowledge and gain hands‑on experience with the logistics side, customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory, pricing controls, credit management, financial statements, and more. Phase 2 (12 months) – Customer Relationships and Procurement: Manage large‑scale projects, read blueprint drawings, create material quotes, and strengthen relationships with customers and vendors. Phase 3 (15‑18 months) – Account Management and Proactive Sales: Focus on business development, new business opportunities, selling products, negotiating contracts, expanding the customer base, and creating level‑5 partnerships. Phase 4 (3 months) – Leadership and Operations: Provide strategic vision, lead a team, mentor others, run the business, and develop leadership competencies. Upon completion, you will be ready to take on a managerial role at one of our Canadian Profit Center locations.
