Actuary - Property and Casualty (P&C): On behalf of our Insurance client, Procom is searching for an Actuary - Property and Casualty (P&C) for a 5 month contract role. This position is a Hybrid position requiring 2 days per week onsite.

Candidates will provide advice covering solvency, economic capital, risk management, IFRS 17, mergers and acquisitions, company restructuring and risk control, financial modelling, pricing, underwriting, new legislation, and the efficiency of claims or reporting processes.

Support appointed actuary deliverables, including IFRS 17 liabilities and MCT guidelines
• Provide audit support
• Conduct policy liability valuation and financial condition testing
• Utilize reserving or statistical applications such as Arius, R, or @Risk

Extensive experience as a P&C actuary
• Qualified Actuary (Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries)
• Proficiency in reserving or statistical applications such as Arius, R, or @Risk
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking/project management skills

Bilingual proficiency in English and French
• Continuous improvement mindset
• This is a 5 month contract position.
