Agam operates at the intersection of asset management and insurance, supporting end-to-end execution of insurance strategies from deal origination, M&A, pricing, and operational execution.We are seeking a highly analytical associate to support fast‑paced M&A and strategic initiatives in the life and annuity insurance industry. This role provides exposure to live transactions, regulatory analyses, and corporate projections across the insurance industry, with a focus on modeling, analysis, and process enhancement.Key responsibilities includeSupport the full transaction life‑cycle from due diligence to deal execution and operating company supportConduct ad hoc analyses to inform strategic decisionsDevelop and maintain asset and liability cash flow projection models using C#, Python, Excel, and other modeling toolsValidate and stress‑test models to ensure accuracy, compliance, and investor confidenceIdentify opportunities to enhance modeling systems and workflows, improving efficiency and automationRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative fieldGraduate of a selective, top‑tier undergraduate program with strong academic performanceStrong quantitative, analytical, and problem‑solving skillsStrong coding skills (C#, Python, or other OOP frameworks preferred)Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada #J-18808-Ljbffr
