We offer: Work-life harmony with access to an award-winning holistic wellness program Continuous learning through our robust corporate curriculum and education reimbursement program Incredible rewards, travel incentives, and product and service discounts Pay-for-performance and best-in-class recognition programs Competitive benefits that include a defined contribution plan, personal spending account, and so much more Join our growing team where everyone belongs What You Will Do Responsible for achieving operational goals, while adhering to client service standards and being compliant with company and industry regulatory standards Recommend and implement business process improvements to manage underwriting support workload Manage daily workflow distribution and produce status reporting Manage and develop Underwriting Associates to ensure that they are meeting or exceeding performance expectations for key performance indicators Build strong customer relationships with Brokers Ensure compliance with Echelon's underwriting rules, guidelines and policies Responsible for implementing new policies and procedures and comply with all existing policies and procedures Act as the technical resource to handle issues as they arise with respect to new business data entry, endorsements, renewals, systems, etc. Maintain a high level of knowledge of required products Please note: Internal applicants are asked to formally express their interest by applying online no later than 10 business days. The expected salary range for this position will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. Who You Are Post secondary diploma/degree CIP designation preferred Minimum of 7 years of Commercial Auto Underwriting experience Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong product knowledge and thorough understanding of insurance policy wordings Ability to make sound business decisions Product management experience with profit & loss responsibility Understanding of financial management methods, the nature of insurance risk and reinsurance Please note that we may use AI tools to help us through the recruitment process. #J-18808-Ljbffr
