With ambitious plans to grow we’re busy recruiting and looking to welcome an additional talent acquisition specialist to our team, to support the continued growth of the Mott MacDonald team in Canada and the US.

You’ll have the responsibility to recruit across a range of disciplines to fill immediate requirements and pipeline for future ones, and we think it’s a great opportunity to learn, see your ideas come to life and really add value in a fast-paced environment. We use a global recruitment system that tracks applications and you’ll get lots of training on how to use it. Things you’ll be doing include developing and advertising creative job description, screening applications, proactively sourcing quality candidates, developing your own social media campaigns, setting up interviews, guiding candidates through the recruitment process and presenting offers.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that you'll spend a lot of time talking to people. We work as one talent acquisition team supporting the North America business. You’ll need to utilize a proactive approach to candidate sourcing and will be empowered to utilize the freshest techniques and encouraged to explore and trial new ideas. You will be the main point of contact for people who’re applying and it is essential that everyone receives a first-class experience.

To join our team, you’ll need some recruitment experience, having recruited in either an agency or internal environment. You need to be confident, proactive, and creative. We work as a close team and everyone has a voice so it’s important to us that you’re someone who has a genuine interest in recruitment; taking pride in everything you do. It’s also a role for someone who wants to develop and progress in a talent acquisitionroles and having a curiosity to learn.

We’re looking for someone who:

Has the confidence and charisma to connect with the top decision-makers in theindustry. You know how to communicatevision and value proposition effectively and persuasively. You are not just engaging with senior stakeholders, you are building lasting partnerships

A master of the recruitment cycle, from finding potential candidates to sealing the deal. You know how to handle every aspect of the hiring process, from sourcing to screening to negotiating. You are not just a recruiter, you are a full desk wizard

  • Is a pro at finding the hidden gems in the talent pool. You know how to use LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean searches to findthe perfect matches for your roles and have successfully filled many mid to senior level roles.
  • Is a multitasking champion who can juggle multiple hiring needs at once. You thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment where you can showcase your speed and efficiency
  • Knows how towow the candidatesin amarket where they call the shots, and you can convince them to join your team with your communication and negotiation skills.
  • Has outstanding skills in expressing yourselfbothverbally and in writing.
  • Is area self-starter who can handle your own tasksindepenently
  • Is willing to explore new placesacross North America,whenever the need for travel arises.
  • You havea burning desire to find and hire the best talentand youlove the thrill of working in a dynamic setting
