ResponsibilitiesTraining Program Development & DeliveryPromote health and safety in all training activities. Ensure health and safety standards are emphasized throughout all training programs and materials. Foster a culture of safety by incorporating safe work practices into operational training and by regularly reminding staff of their responsibility to maintain a safe working environment.Design, develop, and implement training programs for SAP S/4HANA. Tailor content for key operational roles such as Receiving, Shipping, Picking and Replenishment and Inventory, ensuring each team understands how to use the system effectively in their daily work.Build and improve training curricula for operational processes. Maintain up-to-date training modules and best practices, regularly updating content to reflect changes in procedures.Create engaging training materials. Develop manuals, presentations, e-learning modules, and hands-on workshops that are clear, practical, and suited to different learning styles.Deliver training sessions for new hires and existing staff. Facilitate both in-person and virtual training, focusing on interactive learning and high engagement to ensure strong retention and application of skills.Organize onboarding and refresher programs. Manage training schedules for new employees and provide ongoing refresher courses, adapting materials as systems or processes evolve.Operational Support & Issue InvestigationInvestigate user, system and process-related issues. Actively review and troubleshoot operational challenges such as short ships, inbound errors, and other warehouse related discrepancies.Collaborate with teams to resolve issues. Work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and IT to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and update training materials to prevent recurrence.Monitor and analyze error trends. Track common issues and provide feedback to improve processes and system usage across all operational areas.Subject Matter Expertise (SME)Serve as the primary SME for SAP S/4HANA operational processes.Provide ongoing support, guidance, and mentorship to current and new employees regarding SAP S/4HANA usage and best practices.Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving initiatives related to SAP S/4HANA and operational workflows.Collect and analyze feedback to ensure training effectiveness and address knowledge gaps.Program Administration & ReportingSchedule training sessions and manage training calendars.Track employee progress, and training completion using appropriate systems.Maintain detailed and accurate training records; prepare regular reports for management.Ensure all training programs comply with company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications3+ years of experience in training coordination, preferably within food distribution, logistics, or CPG environments.Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, especially modules relevant to distribution and operations would be an asset.Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering training programs (classroom, online, and hands-on).Familiarity with SQF (Safe Quality Food) standards is highly desirable.Strong understanding of food safety regulations, operational workflows, and CPG industry standards.Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills.Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with e-learning platforms is a plus. The base compensation range for this role is $55,497 CAD - $72,000 CAD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
