As our operations expand, we are seeking a skilled Part‑Time Finance Manager to support our financial strategy, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure strong financial stewardship. Role Overview The Part‑Time Finance Manager will oversee day‑to‑day financial operations, lead budgeting and forecasting processes, support strategic planning, and ensure NuEnergy.ai maintains financial rigor as we continue to scale. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, mission‑driven environment and enjoys owning processes from end‑to‑end. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Operations Oversee bookkeeping functions, including expense tracking and reconciliations Manage accounts receivable/payable processes Process payroll and adhere to payroll compliance Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with year‑end close Cash Flow & Risk Management Monitor cash flow and recommend improvements Support grant reporting, funding applications, and investor documentation Identify opportunities to optimize financial processes and systems Qualifications 5+ years of accounting experience Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling Experience with small to mid‑size companies, tech, or consulting environments is an asset Proficiency with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel/Google Sheets, BambooHR) Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently while coordinating with other departments What We Offer Flexible part‑time schedule (10–15 hours per week) Opportunity to shape financial processes within a purpose‑driven company Collaborative, innovative, and supportive work environment Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and interest in the role to angela@nuenergy.ai.
