The Role The Hydraulic Modeller will be responsible for building and applying hydraulic water and wastewater models for private and public sector clients. Responsibilities Conduct hydraulic modelling analysis for water and wastewater systems. Perform data analysis for planning studies. Prepare engineering calculations, reports and drawings. Help prepare key project deliverables, such as technical reports, client presentations, modelling outputs, and GIS mapping. Support senior engineers with water and wastewater projects for a wide variety of municipal and private sector clients. Minimum Qualifications Certified Professional Engineer license in Ontario, or must be eligible to obtain within one year. Junior Hydraulic Modeller candidates must have a minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of relevant experience in water or wastewater design or hydraulics. Intermediate Hydraulic Modeller candidates must have 4+ years of experience in water or wastewater design or hydraulics. Strong understanding of hydraulics principals. Strong organizational, problem‑solving and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with multi‑disciplined teams. Technical Skills Experience in modelling software (WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, Infoworks ICM, Infowater, PCSWMM). Knowledge of GIS systems (ESRI or ArcGIS). Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel. Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D.
