Position details Number of Openings: 1 Worker Type: Temporary (Fixed Term) Job Description Learn and understand all the CAT engines and generator set offerings both in Diesel and Natural gas along with sub-systems. Develop technical drawings and bills of material as assigned based on the discipline of expertise and project requirements. Design assemblies, parts or systems as defined to meet customers scope and requirements. Liaison with internal and external suppliers/clients to develop solutions. Provide engineering staff drafting support and perform misc. technical and routine tasks. Determine system operating parameters/requirements for Caterpillar and non caterpillar equipment. Day-to-Day Activities Work on CAD drawings and technical documentation. Support engineering staff with drafting and design tasks. Participate in project meetings and collaborate with suppliers. Update bills of material and maintain project records. Requirements Completed 3rd year of Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering at a Canadian university. Proficient in CAD software and MS Office. Knowledge of Inventor and Solid Works. Understanding of thermal and flow dynamics. Strong organizational and communication skills. Important This position is based out of our Surrey office. Temporary Co-Op term 8 months. Monday – Friday, 5x2 schedule.
