The position develops strategies and priorities to be incorporated into the strategic / business / finance plans that reflect the short‑ and long‑term operational needs of the organization. Additionally, the position supports the re‑design of the Financial Services office as the organization AHS moves to a hospital‑based service provider. The CFO ensures financial reporting and compliance are carried out and in accordance with all required governance principles. The position is accountable for monitoring business performance and the development of tools to report results. The position establishes and maintains positive relationships with local, provincial, and national representatives and stakeholders, including government departments and officials.
