The successful candidate will report directly to the Regional Director Sales Western Canada. As well, the Account Representative will work closely with the Sales, Marketing and Procurement Team to Deliver high quality, responsive service and support to all SGP Partners.

This position will be a remote position that will require travel within the Territory.

Accountabilities

  • Develop territory sales and meet sales objectives for assigned territory.
  • Builds partnerships with key customers, suppliers, and industry associations.
  • Regularly review measures of success of client’s programs and engage with clients on a routine cadence to provide account support and regular Business Reviews
  • Assists in budget planning and forecasting for SGP Purchasing
  • Consultative selling and promotion of products and service within customer segments in assigned territory.
  • Plans and conducts programs and activities (in-services, continuing health education programs, regional meetings etc.) that will drive growth of the SGP brand in terr itory.
  • Attends industry trade shows for territory.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Post secondary school education with Long Term Care or Seniors Living experience
  • Preferred 3-5 years’ related experience in Long Term Care Homes or Retirement / Senior Living operations
  • Detail orientated with ability to prioritize & organize multiple tasks, projects.
  • Analytical with ability to source solutions, resolve client issues, & answer client inquiries in a timely, customer focused manner
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office & Salesforce
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable Vehicle required.
