The target range for this position is $37.00 to $50.00 per hour. We generally base our salary decisions on factors such as internal equity, candidate work and/leadership experience, educational credentials, and in some cases, candidate work location.Scope of Job: TheOperations Supervisorwillreport directly to theOperationsManagerandsupporthim/herinoverseeingthe process and success ofassignedoperationalmaintenanceworkwhileutilizingvast technical skills and experience to perform advanced troubleshooting and repair activities.Theoperations supervisor will performthedaily assignedworkandassistwith schedules, pulling onappropriate resources, and ensuring thatproperpreventiveandcorrective actions are taken to improve the performance of installed technologies.ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership (50%):Lead technical teams by overseeing their execution of daily maintenance and repair work plans to the expected performancestandard, safety, and schedule.Ensure effective communications between fieldtechnicians and theoperationsmanager.Assisttheoperationsmanager with performance of QCassessments of work by technical team.Serve as thetechnical expert in troubleshooting, resolving complex repairs,checkthe quality of workexecutionandcoachthe less skilled team members on the assigned tasks.Act as a lead andassistfield technicians with HV operations.Execute scheduled & unscheduled maintenance of generating assets, including BOP and SCADA communications.Successfully perform switching at substations, substationinspectionsand maintenance activities.Operational ManagementSupport(40%):Supportoperationsmanagerwithplanning andallocation of available resourcesand reevaluation of maintenance prioritiesto maximize facility output while minimizing costs.Conductinventorymanagementactivities includingresearchassociated withspare partsandspecialty toolsneeds.Assistwith creating, reviewing, and approvingmanagement reports,WorkRequestsand performing TECO transactions.Assistoperationsmanager with all safety aspects at the siteincluding performingperiodicsafetywalkstodrivethe highestsafety standards and safety compliance.Drive continuous improvementand performance improvement campaignsprojectsto improve operational KPIs.Act asa backup responsibility to theOperationsManagerOther duties as assigned (10%)Supervision of Others:Technical oversight offrontlineoperations staffandsupport in overseeingexternal contractors.QualificationsEducation/Experience:High School Diplomaand orequivalentrequired.Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Technician or 3 years in a similar Lead Technician role.Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Mustpossessa valid current driver’s license and successfully meet organizational requirements tooperatemotor vehicles.Advanced troubleshootingand repairskills.Understanding ofoperationalsite performance and relevant operationalKPIs.Knowledgeof EDFR Policies and procedures.Required to read and interprettechnicaldrawings of associatedrenewable energytechnologies.Demonstratedthorough understanding ofkeysafetyconcepts and work practices.Good communicationandmeeting facilitation skillsrequired.Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.While performing the duties of this job the employeeis regularly required to:Stand, climb, use hands to fingers, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.The employee isfrequentlyrequired to talk orlisten.The employeeis regularly required tolift and/or move up to 35 pounds,frequentlylift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Able to work at heights, including climbing up and descending towers, entering nacelles and hubs at extreme heights(wind turbine generators only)Able to work in a mechanical environment.
