OverviewJob Location: BellevilleJob Description: The Site Occupational Health job family at Procter & Gamble is dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of all employees. This includes monitoring and managing occupational health risks and implementing health processes.Do you have a passion for promoting maintaining and restoring the overall well-being of employees to improve their optimal performance?As an Occupational Health Nurse, your primary responsibility will be providing comprehensive health and wellness services to the employees of the plant in alignment with established Global Medical priorities, Health System Key Elements, North America Medical and site-specific objectives, goals, strategies and measures. You will collaborate with other team members to address site health and safety needs for the plant, support site assessment audits, site risk analysis, and exercise an occupational health management plan to support health. You will deliver comprehensive nursing care including prompt medical emergency response, medication administration, referrals, as well as prevention, treatment, and follow-up for occupational injuries and illnesses.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :Coordinate care of ill and injured workers for return-to-work assessments and fit-for-duty evaluations.Engage with site and regional medical resources to support clinical activities including medical triage, medical qualification and monitoring assessments, and facilitation of plant physician clinics.Conduct new hire post-offer health questionnaire reviews, focused physical assessments and medical qualification testing.Work with third party vendors to facilitate health services programs and resources based on business needs.Ensure compliance with occupational health programs and medical testing requirements of OHSA, P&G Medical and Industrial Health & Safety standards.Attain and maintain current knowledge of the site’s chemical, biological and physical risks/dangers and participate in change management and site safety reviews and risk assessments.Promote and contribute to a healthy workplace culture by providing health education and supporting wellness programs offered by the site.Occupational and non-occupational disability management.Ensure data confidentiality, data privacy and data safety for occupational health records.
