Intermediate Citrix and Virtualization Consultant Apply for the Intermediate Citrix and Virtualization Consultant role at Long View Systems. This position is based in the Calgary branch and focuses on designing, implementing and upgrading Citrix and virtualization technologies. Base pay range $60,835.00/yr - $79,847.00/yr Responsibilities Provide senior technical support for all server infrastructure components (hardware, software, OS, firmware, network, cloud infrastructure) Consult with users and evaluate requirements, recommend designs, provide cost analysis, plan projects, and coordinate tasks for projects Work with teammates to design and implement complex solutions Installation, configuration, maintenance and upgrades of servers, with a focus on utilizing technology to achieve business objectives Perform incidents root cause analysis and identify work around or fix Qualifications 5+ years of working experience within an Enterprise environment, supporting diverse IT Infrastructure platforms 3+ years of hands‑on technical working experience with the Citrix ecosystem, including XenApp, XenDesktop, Delivery Controllers, StoreFront Servers, Citrix Gateways and Profile management with FSLogix Technical knowledge with 4+ years of experience in Windows and Red Hat Linux Server operating systems in an enterprise environment 3+ years of hands‑on technical working experience with the architectural and/or deployment and/or operational support of VMware vSphere Hypervisor/ESXi Experience in an Airline setting considered an asset Experience with scripting and automation skills (VMware PowerCLI, Terraform, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet, and/or Ansible) Advanced problem‑solving, interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in managing service components to ensure they meet business needs and performance targets Incident and problem management skills Excellent time management skills, ability to manage multiple items Willingness to learn related technology and business process Ability to determine root cause from outcomes What Makes You Extra Awesome Experience with Citrix Netscaler Application Virtualization experience (App-V or Citrix App Layering) Why Work at Long View Career growth – Permanent staff positions, paid training, career life planning, and relocation and travel opportunities Interesting work – Be part of exciting projects while accessing all the latest technologies Comprehensive benefits package from day one Seniority Level Associate Employment Type Full-time Job Function Information Technology and Consulting Industries IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Long View Systems by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
