The financial analyst is also responsible for supporting the implementation of internal controls.**What You'll Do Here*** Support month end process and reconciliations within deadlines and procedures;* Prepare monthly analysis of consolidated and non-consolidated balance sheet and income statement accounts;* Update monthly continuity schedules;* Prepare journal entries for multiple entities;* Participate in monthly financial and management reporting;* Reconcile intercompany balances and resolve mismatches;* Develop new analysis to ensure accuracy of data* Ensure transactions are recorded in compliance with GAAP* Develop and maintain accurate process documentation* Ensure internal controls are applied as documented* Assist in the preparation of financial information for external auditors* Support business partners in providing financial information or analysis as needed* Special projects and other various queries**What You'll Need to Succeed*** Bachelor degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting.* CPA designation or in the process of obtaining one* Experience in audit is a strong asset* Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications* Knowledge of Workday is an asset* Good analytical and problems solving skills* Good knowledge of accounting standards for private companies (ASPE)* Good organizational skills, management of priorities and respect of deadlines* Ability to perform in an evolutive and dynamic environment* Natural propensity for teamwork* Positive attitude, oriented towards continuous improvement* Good communication skills in French and English (written and oral)Altasciences strives to provide a French work environment for its employees in Quebec.
