Lawson Clark & Oldman LLP is one of Durham Region’s most respected and long-established law firms. We’re looking for an experienced Corporate Law Clerk (minimum 1–2 years) to join our collaborative team in Ajax. You’ll work on a variety of corporate and commercial files, managing transactions from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, proactive and comfortable working independently while contributing to a supportive team environment. The role will require from time to time administrative support to the Real Estate department as needed. Key Responsibilities Prepare corporate documents (incorporations, amendments, annual resolutions, dissolutions, etc.) Manage corporate and commercial closings, including drafting and organizing closing documents Conduct corporate and PPSA searches and registrations Maintain and update corporate minute books and registers Communicate directly with clients, lawyers, and third parties to ensure deadlines are met Draft correspondence and manage follow-ups efficiently Provide occasional administrative support to the Real Estate department as needed Qualifications Law Clerk Diploma from an accredited Ontario college Minimum 1–2 years’ corporate law experience in a law firm setting Strong knowledge of the OBCA , CBCA , and related legislation Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent communication, time management, and client service skills Ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment Experience in real estate law or providing administrative support to a real estate team is an asset Experience with corporate entity data management systems an asset Why Join Us Competitive salary and bonus opportunities Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off, wellness program, and on-site parking Opportunities for professional growth and advancement How to Apply Please send your resume , cover letter , and salary expectations to coldman@lcolaw.ca .
