We are hiring an Intermediate Adjuster (Bodily Injury) in Edmonton or Calgary. Hybrid work is available as described above. We hope you consider applying if you: have knowledge of Minor Injury Regulation, Fatal Accidents Act; hold technical competence in BI with liability, causation, damages and reserving; can manage multiple changing priorities and deliver results; have strong negotiation and decision‑making skills; want to leverage your leadership skills for good – supporting SGI’s culture, learning, and colleague development. Typically, these skills are gained through a two‑year diploma from an accredited post‑secondary institution in a relevant field such as Business, Insurance or Legal Studies, combined with 3–5 years experience adjudicating claims. Relevant experience may include positions such as claims adjuster, legal assistant (insurance/litigation) or claims analyst. Don’t worry about checking every box – confidence gaps exist.
