Full time, Permanent 14x14 continuous day and night shift rotation Field positions What’s In It For You? $67.49 - $74.99 / hour Hourly premiums available continuous shift: $3.50/h night shift: $3.50/h field: $2.25/h Paid breaks, vacation, sick and flex time Overtime & double time hours available Continuous shift; extra 15 scheduled weeks off per year Industry leading Benefits Employee Share Purchase Plan Options RRSP and retirement plan options Boot Allowance Premium Camp or Location Allowance CAT Dealer grade training Job Description Major Job Functions Troubleshoot and repair and maintain Caterpillar mining equipment Perform field diagnosis and field running repairs Large scale overhauls and rebuilds Component replacements Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes) Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning team Qualifications Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification Experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician Strong field troubleshooting skills on the Caterpillar mining product line required for field based positions Valid class 5 driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract required for field positions Important Details A condition of employment is the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position.
