Our client located in Northern British Columbia has an immediate opening for an Electrician.Pay Rate: $53/hr plus benefitsResponsibilitiesConduct electrical PMsTroubleshoot electrical equipmentApply skills to perform assigned tasks and maintain high quality of workmanshipComplete training identified by the Electrical Team LeaderMaintain and Troubleshoot PLC SystemsAssist in the training of other electricians’ apprentices and site personnel based on your skills and abilitiesActively participate in EHS ProgramsMaintain housekeeping of the assigned areasParticipate in improvement projectsPerform other duties as requiredQualificationsKnowledge of electrical functionsKnowledge of equipment and toolsKnowledge of basic PLCTime management and prioritizing skillsKnowledge of electrical troubleshootingExperience in various HMI softwareExperience on V.F. drives, controls and PLCs (Allen Bradley) are an assetNo aversion to working in high places or confined spacesAbility to read and interpret electrical drawingsAbility to work in a team environmentGood communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.Demonstrated coordination and mechanical ability.Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.Good problem-solving abilityStrong computer skillsWilling to take training courses for trade upgradingEducationRed Seal Construction or Industrial Electrician Certification RequiredApplyingPlease submit resumes to chris@halliwellconsulting.com including salary expectations and availability or contact Chris Halliwell at 1 877-737-6562 extension 108.Job Number: 2267 #J-18808-Ljbffr
