Brannon Steel is looking for an experienced CNC Plasma Cutting Machine Operator to join the team at its Brampton manufacturing location on the night shift. Start from $25.11 to $37.29 per hour depending on experience PLUS up to $4 per hour in night shift premiums. Duties Above all, work safely Setup, operate, and troubleshoot one or more 2-axis CNC plasma cutting machines. Move large steel parts and plate using overhead crane with clamps, magnets, vacuum lifters and other attachments. Read part drawings and production documents. Check finished parts against specifications. Perform and document quality inspections. Document work completed. Qualifications Experience operating 2-axis or 3-axis CNC plasma cutting machines. Experience operating overhead cranes, preferably with valid record of training. Perform manual material handling up to 23 kgs (50 lbs). Perform standing and repetitive work including bending, twisting, lifting, and stair climbing. Read, write, and speak English at a conversational level. Perform basic math. Able to work a night shift (Sunday to Thursday 11PM - 7AM). Benefits & Compensation Shift premiums up to $4 per hour on nights and up to $2 per hour on afternoons. Overtime after 40 hours per week.
