Job Type Full-Time/Permanent Workdays Hybrid Scheduled. Monday thru Friday (all five days required). 4 days in-office, 1 day remote. Shift Hours 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (must be able to work a minimum of 40 hrs. per week). Shift Duration 8 hours per day (requires flexibility with Start and Finish time). Work Location 1221 32ND AVENUE LACHINE, QC H8T 3H2 Canada. Pay Rate $24.54 per hour (fixed rate, non-negotiable). Responsibilities Analyze market research to establish hiring expectations and collaborate with Talent Acquisition Senior Recruiters on hard-to-fill roles/territories. Evaluate labor markets and devise strategies to attract talent for various business units (Sales, Operations, Engineering, Finance, etc.). Engages with hiring managers to understand recruiting needs and identifies talent for full- and part-time management, union mechanics, administrative, technical, intern/co-op roles. Conducts strategic sourcing to ensure requisition needs are promptly filled. Reviews resumes, conducts candidate pre-screening, schedules interviews and partners with hiring teams to identify candidate selections. Delivers and negotiates employment offers. Monitors employment processing to ensure compliance, required by government regulations (local and otherwise). Applies total compensation knowledge, inclusive of benefits, paid time off, salary and retirement. Applies labor and employment law knowledge to business decisions. Applies an understanding of policies and procedures to situations and operations in a business area. Promotes UPS as an employer of choice to both internal and external talent. Evaluates recruiting and interviewing processes and makes recommendations for process improvements. Requirements Minimum 12 months professional recruiting experience (Management, PT Mgmt., Mechanics, Administrative/Technical roles, Intern/Co-op). Must be authorized to work in Canada and be located in Quebec. Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Regular interactions with clients outside of Quebec (75%)). Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred, and/or relevant experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills preferred. Ideal candidate will be solutions-oriented and demonstrate proven success delivering innovative sourcing and recruiting strategies within a highly visible environment. Highly organized and demonstrate the ability to multi-task. Strong desire for growth and learning and keep up to date on industry and management trends. Ability to navigate a fast paced, complex environment with confidentiality, ease and agility. Workday experience preferred. Experience working with various social media/recruitment platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.). Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams).
