Senior Programmer/Analyst

Our Government of Canada client has a won contract opportunity for a Senior Programmer/Analyst with expertise in PHP programming language.

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: March 31, 2024 (+ extension option for 1-yr)

Location: Fully remote (candidate must reside in Canada)

Security Clearance: Enhanced Reliability

Role Requirements:

  • Ten (10) years of experience in the analysis, design, and development of software applications;
  • Knowledge and experience with PHP.

Tasks:

  • Facilitate discussions with business to identify business gaps in relation to current and future business objectives;
  • Developing application patterns and prototypes;
  • Attend meetings with clients when required to clarify requirements;
  • Develop and test code in support of identified business functions;
  • Support existing Applications/services;
  • Document and track activities using the GoC Department’s tools and procedures;
  • Raise issues to management for considerations when appropriate.
  • Analyse, design, test, maintain and implement services solutions as per business requirements and as per project’s milestones;
  • Option analysis and architecture of chosen solution;
