Whether it’s engaging in heartfelt conversations, assisting with daily routines, or helping them stay connected with the world, you’ll be a beacon of positivity in their lives. Your Role: As a caregiver, you'll create meaningful moments by: Spreading Warmth and Companionship: Spend quality time with seniors, fostering friendships and engaging them in conversations and activities that keep their spirits high. Promoting Independence: Assist with personal care tasks like grooming, showering, and dressing, ensuring seniors feel confident and cared for. Keeping Things Sparkling: Help with light housekeeping, including dishes, laundry, and tidying, to maintain a cozy and welcoming home. Whipping Up Happiness: Prepare meals with love, catering to dietary needs, and assisting with feeding (if needed). Ensuring Safety and Mobility: Support seniors with walking, including the use of walkers or wheelchairs, and ensure safe travels to appointments or outings. Running Errands and Staying Connected: Shop for groceries, handle bills, or provide transportation to appointments, family visits, or outings. Documenting Your Impact: Record details of your visits and services delivered to ensure the best care for our seniors. Qualifications: Empathy, patience, and kindness. Communication skills that could light up a room. Ability to juggle tasks confidently. Flexibility to changing schedules. First aid and CPR skills are a bonus too. A driver's license and reliable transportation to be their hero on wheels. A heart full of compassion and a high school diploma or equivalent. Required: Driver's license and registered vehicle At least one year experience as a caregiver Ability to lift, push, or pull 25 pounds Excellent oral and written communication skills Proven customer service abilities High school degree or equivalent Currently located in Chestermere, AB (no international applicants) Willing to travel up to 30 minutes from home to work location Ready to be a hero and make a real difference in the lives of seniors?
