As demand grows, we’re expanding our team and are currently hiring **casual and substitute nanny staff** for flexible, on-call and casual work.

This is a great opportunity for experienced caregivers, early childhood professionals, or part-time workers seeking meaningful, flexible employment.

**Position Overview**:
In this casual/substitute role, you'll be placed with families on a temporary basis, sometimes with short notice. You may be covering for a family’s regular nanny, helping out during school breaks, or stepping in for one-off shifts. Each day may look different, but the goal remains the same: providing exceptional care to children in a safe, nurturing environment.

**Typical responsibilities include**:

- Engaging children in fun and age-appropriate activities
- Following routines set by the family
- Preparing meals and snacks for children
- Light housekeeping related to childcare (tidying up toys, dishes, etc.)
- Providing a safe, attentive, and caring presence
- Communicating effectively with families and agency staff

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Experience as a nanny or childcare worker
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification or willing to obtain
- Clear Police Information Check (including Vulnerable Sector) or willing to obtain
- Reliable transportation to get to shifts across Calgary and nearby communities (e.g., Airdrie, Okotoks, Chestermere, Cochrane)
- Excellent communication skills and professional references
- Weekday daytime availability
- Dependability, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with children

**How to Apply**:

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 45 per week
