As a Small Equipment Installer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the daily lives of our clients by delivering, installing, and educating them on essential mobility and safety equipment. You will often be the final point of contact, ensuring a positive experience through exceptional service and safe, accurate installations.This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong customer relationships, contributing to team growth, and solving practical challenges with attention to detail. You will build lasting relationships, provide personalized support, and earn referrals by demonstrating skill, care, and professionalism in every interaction.What you'll doDeliver orders to customer residences and healthcare facilities throughout the greater Edmonton area, handling everything from single items to multiple boxes and rollators.Install equipment such as wall grab bars, safety poles, and bathroom aids, using hand and power tools safely and securely.Assess installation sites and surfaces to ensure safety and suitability for equipment and customer needs.Support safe use and appropriate equipment selection during trials through product education and minor mechanical adjustments.Customer-Focused ServiceRepresent Healthcare Solutions as the face of the brand to customers and healthcare professionals.Ensure a positive experience by demonstrating care for clients, their property, and the products that improve their independence.Build rapport with clients and health professionals to encourage repeat business and referrals.Product ExpertiseDevelop knowledge of products, funding options, and other services to support customer choices.Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and share expertise with colleagues.Expand knowledge across other product lines, including home modifications, power mobility aids, and daily living solutions.Use delivery software to manage orders, optimize routes, update statuses and notes, and create proof-of-delivery records.Communicate with interdepartmental teams and manage scheduled appointments and notes digitally.Vehicle Operation & MaintenanceOperate, maintain, and load/unload a Class 5 vehicle safely.Drive courteously and follow all traffic laws while representing Healthcare Solutions on the road.Who We’re Looking ForSkills & Requirements:Core Values: Adaptable, compassionate, and empowering.Licensing: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract.Customer Focus: Charismatic communicator with experience in sales, customer service, or healthcare support roles.Physical Capability: Able to safely meet the physical requirements of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.Technical Skills: Basic mechanical skills and understanding of carpentry or related trades; proficiency with technology and ability to learn new software quickly.Problem-Solving & Organization: Strong organizational skills and ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site.Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on providing a professional and positive customer experience.Experience: Previous experience in equipment installation, healthcare, or customer service is an asset.What We OfferComprehensive Benefits: Health and dental coverage to support your well-being.Professional Development: Ongoing training and career growth opportunities.Paid Time Off: Personal days to support work-life balance.Employee Perks: Discounts on products and access to social events.Supportive Culture: Thrive in a workplace guided by our ACE values – Adaptable, Compassionate, Empowering.Location: South EdmontonWorkplace Type: On-site/drivingJob Type: Permanent.
