What You’ll Be Doing:
Designing physical layout of custom analog and digital blocks for multi-Gb/s SERDES IP
Understanding analog circuit building blocks and physical design layout parasitic effects in analog circuits
Working with digital logic and layout design for standard cells
Applying knowledge of design for reliability (ie. EM, IR, etc.) and layout effects (ie. matching, reliability, proximity effects, etc.)
Utilizing custom analog layout tools and verification decks (LVS, DRC)
Scripting with TCL, PERL, PYTHON, C, etc.
What You’ll Need:
Must currently be enrolled in 3rd year or higher in Bachelor or Masters of Engineering program, specializing in Electrical, Software or Computer Engineering, or similar
Familiarity with UNIX and Windows work environment
Exposure to a variety of advanced SERDES developments, including the latest 56/112G PAM4 standards
