We are a full-service design firm dedicated to the Development and Home Building industry in the Greater Toronto Area. Our unwavering commitment to quality, design, and service forms the cornerstone of our business ethos.
Supported by a dedicated team of 80 staff, we embrace the challenges inherent in residential design, whether for large communities, smaller enclaves, or custom homes. Since our inception, we have been at the forefront of producing trendsetting home designs that cater to today’s lifestyles, characterized by architectural integrity and built form excellence. This dedication has earned us recognition from the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD), with numerous architectural design awards spanning a range of home types, from townhomes to expansive single-family residences.
As we continue to set new standards in residential design, we are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will lead our Custom Home Department, overseeing the development of high-end custom homes that exemplify our commitment to innovation, quality, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage high-end custom home projects, ensuring adherence to our standards of excellence in design and construction.
Collaborate with clients, consultants, and on-site personnel to translate project requirements into exceptional living spaces that surpass expectations.
Navigate the complexities of zoning regulations and building codes, ensuring compliance and facilitating the permit acquisition process.
Oversee the integration of structural and design elements, from layout and sizing to detailing and material selection.
Coordinate with external partners, including structural engineers, civil engineers, and surveyors, to integrate their expertise into project deliverables.
Utilize advanced software tools such as AutoCAD and Revit Architecture to facilitate efficient project management and design visualization.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural project management, with a specialization in high-end custom homes.
BCIN certification or equivalent qualification required
Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing to meet strict timelines without compromising quality.
Experience in the application of various construction methods, materials, and overall detailing.
Experience with siting and grading design
Proficiency in OBC, with a strong understanding of both Part 9 and Part 3 regulations.
Demonstrated expertise in structural layouts, beam sizing, roof structures, masonry support and other architectural elements.
Fluent in AutoCAD, with familiarity in Revit Architecture preferred.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
