We are hiring a talented Junior Associate, specializing in Acoustics, to join our Acoustics team.

Primary Role

The Junior Associate will report to an acoustics studio head and will be responsible for reviewing drafting for project work for the acoustics group. Additionally, you will assist with the development of acoustical models, renderings, marketing materials, and project coordination duties.

Key Responsibilities
Observe and seek mentoring from senior staff to build technical and client service acumen
Learn company protocol and policies
Regularly attain established billing goals

Business Development
Gather project information and photos for marketing
Maintain Deltek Vantagepoint data daily to log opportunity progress, client and project information

Project Delivery
Perform noise and vibration field measurements and assemble follow up reports under direction of senior personnel
Learn calculation techniques and computer modelling
Report preparation
Become familiar with the Quality Control Manual and other company technical and professional standards

Management and Administration
Maintain electronic files of project data and cut-sheets.
Maintain current manufacturer catalogs and industry standard
Provide daily input to Deltek Vantagepoint CRM, resource planning, timesheets, and expenses

Professional Growth
Identify areas and goals of professional growth each year
Create, maintain, and distribute reports of progress to senior leadership

Required Skills
Ability to listen to clients.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good time management skills
Effective organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
