We are looking for a Project Engineer Decals reporting to the Body Decal Engineering Manager to help us develop safety, compliance and aesthetic warning decals for all BRP products.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Actively participate in the development of decal solutions on all products and for all types of projects (new products and improvements to existing products);
Develop decals according to multiple criteria (combination of materials, types of adhesives, thicknesses and lamination of materials, shapes and textures of receiving surfaces, location vs. risks of wear, production processes, number of colors, information to be mentioned on decals, vehicle use, exposure to outdoor elements, etc.);
Ensure compliance with various authorities' standards (certifications / safety warnings);
Develop performance criteria, establish validation plans and ensure their execution;
Improve existing tools, methods and procedures;
Standardize decals from one product to another;
Support and interact with colleagues, suppliers, engineering teams, design, purchasing, certification and vehicle safety teams, production, marketing, quality assurance, manufacturing engineering and workshops;
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering;
General knowledge of materials (steel, aluminum, plastics, paints);
Project management skills;
Good communication skills;
Team spirit and leadership skills;
Autonomy and ability to navigate in a constantly changing environment;
Available for occasional travel to our various manufacturing sites;
Fluency in English and French (written and spoken); English is required in order to read technical documentation available in English only and communicate with partners and suppliers based abroad.
Knowledge of the Office Suite;
